Between them, they have an unrivalled track record within the IT, outsourcing, BPO, shared services, telecoms, inward investment, public sector, healthcare and recruitment markets.
It was precisely that industry experience and knowledge, together with their vision for producing high-quality publications, that led to them launching Purple Cow Media: they knew the market was crying out for business magazines that are honest, hard-hitting and independent.
Over the past 10 years, Jon and Nigel have forged strong relationships with a number of respected organisations that run industry conferences, exhibitions and events. Now with Purple Cow Media they have taken this further, developing the concept of Key Media Partners, adding high-profile academic and advisory allies to an impressive list of affiliates.
The launch of Purple Cow Media's first quarterly magazine, Professional Outsourcing, in May 2010 was met with widespread acclaim, and certainly created a stir at the industry events where it appeared.
This remarkable publication has already stamped its authority on the outsourcing marketplace, making so much of the other coverage out there seem soft, irrelevant and too easily influenced by vendor hype and accepted wisdom.
