Print: Our Passion

The big question: why print? The answer is simple: print means information that is valued by its exclusivity, depth and quality, while online means information that is valued most by the speed at which it moves.

Print involves a slow, one-to-one personal relationship with the reader, where online involves speed, surface, clicking on from site to site in search of content that sticks. Print satisfies all the senses and for human beings that counts. Print doesn't crash; print is sustainable; print won't cost you your job if you leave it on the train.

We love the internet, social media, blogs and platforms, but we are passionate about print. A good magazine is something you turn to; a good website is something you jump somewhere else from. It's 'read again' versus 'click through', in-depth versus 'dip in', personality versus platform, and we believe both have equal value.

True, you can subscribe to brilliant writers and analysts online, but admit it: during the seconds you spend reading that feed your finger itches to click on somewhere else. Online is a journey, print is a destination. We love to travel, but we also love to arrive.
