Dell offering zero per cent finance for one of its public sector offerings
Dell KACE is hoping to boost uptake of its systems management offerings among public sector clients with a zero per cent financing package.
Open to customers who buy their solutions direct from the supplier, the new finance options provide customers across the public sector with a choice of loan duration and payment terms, and include zero per cent financing options over three years.
The systems management and deployment appliances are used to manage IT systems, typically in 100+ machine installations and can reduce the amount of time spent on day-to-day IT tasks such as device discovery and inventory, auditing, patching, asset management, service desk, and desktop power management. This helps IT staff cut the costs of IT management, as well as freeing up time to deliver more value back to the organisation.
Seann Gardiner, EMEA regional sales director at Dell KACE, said the financing deals would provide greater flexibility to clients on the cost of acquisition: "In today's tough economic climate, organisations can often see where they can save on costs by automating tasks and being innovative with their approach to IT. However, building the business case for that investment can be difficult, even with the strong return on investment that better systems management technology offers."
Gardiner said that price and ease of implementation were already compelling reasons for clients to make investments in Dell KACE over rival products.
"This is really to add a little fuel to the fire," he said.
