emergn Appoints Industry Veteran John Galioto to Executive Vice

emergn, a global services consultancy, today announced the appointment of John Galioto to Executive Vice President, Consulting Americas. Mr. Galioto brings over twenty-five years of IT consulting experience, including ten years of executive management, to emergn's growing portfolio of business..

Mr. Galioto was previously Chief Executive Officer of Valtech North America, where he led a significant turnaround in a business faced with declining revenues. While regenerating Valtech's presence in the market, Mr. Galioto also helped absorb a significant acquisition that tripled the size of the business.

Based in New York, Mr. Galioto will primarily be responsible for growing emergn's presence in the

Americas and bringing delivery leadership to the region. He will also leverage his extensive global experience working as part of emergn's executive team to achieve operational excellence and deliver the highest quality professional services to its client base worldwide.

Prior to Valtech, Mr. Galioto was Chief Operating Officer at ThoughtWorks, where he also held titles of Managing Director UK and Vice President during his five-year tenure. He started his career at American Management Systems (now CGI) in various technical and management roles with progressive leadership responsibility, culminating in Vice President running their global trade finance practice.
