Norway Post to outsource its finance and accounting function

Norway Post has signed one of the largest Norwegian outsourcing contracts for finance and accounting with Cognizant and Visma.

The Nordic logistics and transport company has a multi-year deal with Cognizant, a business-process-outsourcing consulting firm, and Visma, a provider of accounting software and services. The two companies will deliver the breadth of finance transactional services, from accounts payable and receivable, to fixed assets and period-end closing.

The move aims to provide Norway Post with greater operational efficiencies, increased automation, enhanced productivity and a high-quality customer experience.
