Thirteen-year outsourcing deal agreed by ABC Algar in Brazil

Brazilian conglomerate ABC Algar has signed a 13-year agreement to outsource its general accounting, account receivables, account payables, tax, HR, payroll and procurement to consulting firm Capgemini.

ABC Algar, a company focused on technology and telecommunications, agribusiness and services, will work with Capgemini on standardising processes and service levels across two of its business units and nine of its companies. The project aims to increase productivity by over 45%, and improve quality and service flexibility through Algar's expected growth.

Capgemini will use its BPO technology and delivery network of over 1,000 staff in Brazil.
